Those Split Seconds
There are those split-seconds in your life, when you think that you're that close to that finish line you start thinkin whether it is really that line, or "this too shall pass and we all will learn". Situation can include being in a car crash (or almost in a car crash), being in very violent airplane turbulence (including when you're in the air and suddenly the pilot says that you have a mechanical problem and need to land immediately), or as simply as almost drowning in a swimming pool, and definitely excludes adrenaline inducing rides in 6 Flags or any similar theme parks.
Usually in those split-seconds we start thinking (of course quickly, also) of :
- things we haven't done
- things we haven't said
- things we haven't even had the chance to say (such as "I'm the CEO of XX company", lol)
etc, etc, etc.
Learning that those split-seconds can happen anytime, maybe it ain't a bad idea afterall to start thinking too in all times of things we haven't achieved, things we haven't said, or even things we have but we never treasure. So that next time we are in those 'split-seconds' again, even as unexpectedly as it can be, we have less things to think of quickly, minus all the regrets. Even if those particular 'split-seconds' are your very last one, you deserve to leave those seconds in a better way.
