The Taste of Liberty

Roaming free,
That's how I wanna be,
with nothing holding me.
Running through the days carefree,
hoppin on one dream to the other daily,
taking chances but no risk,
only in my fantasy.
(instantaneous by myself)

Not much lately. I'm just fed up with this and thats, things to be done and so much more. Really see forward for spring break. We (Andhika, Laison, Recil, Poppy and I) decided to go to NYC and Boston.

NY again? Well, New York, New York! Just a big city I can't be enough of (well at least as a visitor only). The sight of NY subways, Times Square with the skycrapers, Central Park, good old Ms. Liberty from distance; it's nowhere but NY! The swing of jazz, the taste of 'big city'-ness, the silly attempts to capture the whole scene of Empire State Building in a handheld camera, the adrenaline of the rush, the yellow cabs, the music of the streets... Simply can't wait to be there again. Nothing so Madison-like, somewhere absolutely new.

Well, we got the plane tickets already, and also the round trip bus from NY to Boston. Can't wait to see Harvard or maybe MIT, and (if there's enough time) my dream : Berklee College of Music, the excellent music school where most world famous jazz-ers are born. Some good non-jazz musicians like John Mayer and Rockapella's outstanding percussionist Jeff Thacher, are some of Berklee's 'product'. Hmm, hope I really can go to Berklee. I heard Boston is such a beautiful city... Wondering how good it will be (with my 'mupeng' face).

Anyways, back to the business, I joined the Permias IT team lately to edit Permias website. Want and need the experience! Today is the soft launch day. I took part in the html and some css part. Well, not a perfection, but is the thing we can do with the given time. Well, hope the management keeps goin on. Take a peek at : www.permiasmadison.org/mambo
