The Water of March - Jobim

A stick, a stone,
The end of the road,
The rest of a stump,
A lonesome road

A sliver of glass,
A life, the sun,
A knife, a death,
The end of the run

And the riverbank talks
of the waters of March,
It's the end of all strain,
It's the joy in your heart.

Have been listening to the original song by Jobim and Elis Regina (Águas de Março) thousands time, but just struck me as a potential earworm this week. Been playing it on my piano couple times too.

If you are a bossa or Ipanema aficionado/a, take a breezy listen to the song (if you don't know it yet). I'll choose mine over a glass of nice cold wine:)
