My 20th Bday Card

Baru beresin kamar, biar pas gw balik dari Indo, kamar gw bersih dan ga berantakan...
Sekalian jadi pindah2in barang2 di kamar gw. Futton pindah, meja2 pindah, komputer pindah...
Sempet pegel juga badan...
Rencana pengen beresin kamar malah jadi makin berantakan, belom ngepack lagi, padahal besok pagi dah cabut ke Indo... *sungguh menyeramkan...*
Terus lagi nurunin some of my greeting cards yang gw dulu tempel di dinding... Most are from my friends pas gw ultah ke 20, taon 2005.
Pas gw baca, well... here are ones from my family.

Manda & Robby (my beloved siz and brother-in-law) :
"Happy Bday, Elka! Akhirnya loe 20 taon juga. Hehe :p Jangan feeling blue terus nanti ga bisa happy lagi. Well... moga2an loe suka sama kado dan kuenya. Kadonya mungkin bakalan take a lot of spaces sih. Tapi bagus banget menurut gw as long as loe bisa atur biar bisa dipajang di kamar loe. Well anyway, I wish all the best! Once again, happy bday!"
Terus ada tambahan lagi di 'kupu2'nya : "Smile always! Jangan sering sedih2!!! Nanti bibirnya monyong!"

This is what I thought when I read their message : Gw suka sekali kado dan kuenya! One of the best I've ever had. Well, turned out we figured out together how to work things out (with the gift). Now they're hangin very beautifully on my room's wall :)

Laison (my beloved Kolek) :
"Halo dedeku yang jelek... Huehehe... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Akhirnya itu pala 2 tercapai juga... Cape nih nunggunya!! Hehe... Btw, sori nih gua uda ngibul sekitar kaya 4-5 kali buat bikin lu percaya, biar gua bisa bantuin Manda bikin kue, biar bisa surprisin lu. Soalnya gua tau, the 1st one really2 sucks... tepatnya very sucks!! Tapi karena kita sayang ama lu very very much... So kita mau bikin surprisan satu lagi... and itu emank uda rencana dari dulu... hehe... Btw, gua really wish that u happy with these things that we gave u (hadiah, kue castle yang kita janjiin, surprise inside the card, and juga barang2 berbau musik yang kita beliin buat lu). Btw hadiahnya sebenernya mau kunci G yang lu mau, tapi habis tu, sori2... Hope u like all of them and also we will always be beside u. Just call us if u need someone to talk to. Btw, uda kesemutan nih nulisnya... Happy Bday again and God Speed!!!"

I think : Disurprisin pertama aje dah seneng, kayanya yang dateng yang deket2 (anak2 OUP yang mayan close ke gw). Terus surprise kedua kaya manggil sepertiga anak Indo di Madison gitu (waktu itu kan masi banyak abis anak2 Madison)... I CAN SAY IT WAS MY BEST BDAY SO FAR. Thanx a lot for saying that I can always talk to you or Manda whenever I need someone to talk to. Kue castlenya William Sonoma were so awesome! Hahaha, good job buat Manda, dan eloe. Your gifts were (like I told Manda) amazing. Thank you, Kolek, dah pasangin di tembok apartemen gw. So happy to be yer toddler siz. :)

Andhika (my beloved wise bro) :
"Hepi bday ya, panjang umur... semoga lu senenk2, jangan banyak pikiran... en jangan sedih2 mulu. Terus makin rajin ya. Ok.. Terus ketemu Mr. Rights, hehe..."

Eveline (my dear siz, how I miss ya so much, pulang Indo musti maen bareng! :p ) :

what I think : Believe me it was the most memorable birthday! Hehehe... Anyway, thanx a lot for the cute oleh2, it's still there sitting on the top of my small cupboard rite now. :) yeah, "everything does happen for a reason..."

Noticed that the whole family observed me... Each one of them somehow said "Smile always, don't be so much in blue." Hmm, read again and felt warm teardrop on my cheek. How friends become a real family, loving me like I'm really their youngest siz... Really thoughtful of 'em. I had a super wonderful and beautiful and fruitful and tasty self-made bday cake, super wonderful gifts, and super wonderful surprises. Don't worry, all you did really made me happy. I was laughin with you guys and did forget my sorrow that very moment.

Remembering how that very nite gave me back my smile... Remembering how lucky I am...

Now, putting all the greeting cards to a place, where I can keep 'em dearly...
