My Thxgivin Holiday

Back in MadTown rite now after 6 hours total of flights (including transit). Know that I'll miss my thxgivin holiday. Was really excited about it, now have to find something I look forward to again. Someone has given me an idea of what that new exciting thing can be :)

Back to OUP 106, staring at my laptop's screen, listening to the background music of Kotaksuara. Bathed, and feel somehow refreshed. Looking back and remembering all things.

- I met 3 gentlemen 5 days ago. Went thru more things than I expected to have while travelling. You'll never guess how so much of gentlemen they are... Always felt safe though I'm far away from home. Wondered why so different with Midwest dudes.

- We were 'trapped' to be together for a coupla days. These days just fled by.

- Ate countless meals together, in restaurants that accept cards, or cash only, and also at home (we have this funny chef).

- Being in 3 states in a day. (DC, MD, VA).

- Having a coupla puzzles solved (25 horses, 100 marbles, etc...). One thought about these seriously, one not really, and the other didn't even think about them. Hahaha...

- The struggle against broken doors. One has a broken door, one has the door that cannot be closed, the other has a door, which when you open, cute creatures namely dogs are gonna run to you.

- Got a pretty bad car accident on the highway. Got me real bad.

- Played a drinking game named Hockey, and drank some. One is allergic to alcohol (but still drank anyways), one gets red pretty early, and one is a drinkin buddy (I guess Madisonians will gladly drink with him). Gw tidak bikin malu nama Madison, tentu saja (alcohol intake 'mayan...)

- Watched Borat and Deja Vu. First movie was both funny but nightmare-ous. Second movie was a very good one.

- Getting my allergy to evervescents overcome. Thanx to a guy who made me the drink (though it was supposedly his 'payback' time, regarding his allergy to alcohol).

- A ticket for speeding (78mph). That really sucked.

- Some pictures were taken. Some that couldn't be photographed well were captured by my own eyes to be remembered as eternal as possible. Most are beautiful. (You gotta go to Top of the World and Maryland National Aquarium).

- Visited a very different campus, namely VT. Interesting things I never knew before. A pretty high tech school...

- Learned some more about drums from a guy who plays guitar pretty well.

- Ate Thxgivin dinner with great women who can cook really well. Job well done! Dapet pempek... (see this post)

- Learned more about physics (thx to Oman's book).

- Knew more people.

- Met and parted with a new friend, being famous of a ginger company and his necessity to have a carbon skinned car.

- Met and parted with a friend whom I know for 3.5 years but haven't met until this holiday. 'Twas really a pleasure to meet him. Never knew what a big heart he has.

- Met and parted with a friend, whom I met once a coupla years ago. Never knew he is that interesting... (Nobody will get out of the problem of running out of socks like he does. Hahaha, that's really thinking outside the box. Well there were other interesting stuffs). He kindly woke me up at 4 in the morning to make sure I catch my plane (when he was supposedly asleep in bed). Sumthin tells me I'm gonna miss him.

Well, that was my Thxgivin holiday. Though it wasn't a perfect one, I really had so much fun. Learning how different people can be just because they stay far away, though they have the same homecountry as me. I felt the differences, really. They were not bad ones, and I was astonished by 'em. Hopefully we do keep in contact after this.
