Phantom of the Opera

! Warning !
The content of this posting would be highly possibly boring if you are not interested in the title already.

Just watched Phantom of the Opera yesterday and trully I believe that it's one of the most beautiful things I have experienced in my entire life. Went to Overture Center, a brand new opera house in Madison where the Broadway itself came and performed the world famous Phantom of the Opera. I'm very very lucky to watch this play and I've been excited about it since Spring last year!

How was it? As I said, it was really a beauty. The singers and dancers are very tallented. They sing very well though there are a lot of movements. They act very well too. Professional, I could definitely say. The main singers have such wonderful voice, my ears were really happy yesterday :). So touching and I got the feeling and emotions flow going on. That was sooo nice. Gentle but secure, everything will no doubtly be in order. Feeling greatly so into the play in the last scene when the Phantom is about letting the couple go and choose to live back in the shadow and dissappear. Shortly, what a play!

The music? It was terrific! The 'orchestra' is hidden under the stage! I could barely see them if I didn't see the conductor's hand going back and forth. In the intermission I went closer and saw, amazingly, they only have 1 violin, 1 bass, 1 cello, 1 Flute, 2 French horns and everything else in a small amount. Wow! They made it look like the whole orchestra was there. Salut to the sound engineer and to all those things they made with the technology! They even have several cameras downstairs so that they can see what the players are doing right on the stage above them. So cool! Well organized...

The last one is any moving things. Can you imagine, a boat appear to be smoothly moving on the wooden stage floor? It really looks like they are in river and going underneath a tunnel. Reggie, Laison and I suspected that it is remotely controlled. Layers of scene are perfect. So great! Laison said,"it's perfectly the same with the movie version!" Wow! I mean, in movie, everything is well prepared (the changing of scenes), and this is just as the same as the movie! I could say this performance is well engineered.

Nice work, well done!
